What's rebroadcasting?
The broadcasting of a television programme in its entirety, without alteration or modification by entities other than the original broadcaster. The rebroadcasting of programmes requires the consent of the broadcaster (licence). Rebroadcasting can be carried out in various ways: terrestrial (Digital Terrestrial Television), cable, satellite or closed IPTV network.

Rebroadcasting can be carried out in various ways: terrestrial (Digital Terrestrial Television), cable, satellite or closed IPTV network. Obtaining the broadcaster's consent is necessary regardless of the source of signal acquisition or signal coding or its lack (so-called FTA or Free-to-air).
The consent of the broadcaster for rebroadcasting of TVP programmes is needed by every entity that distributes (rebroadcasts) the signal of TV programmes e.g. in a cable network, and the signal reaches subscribers who receive this signal on the basis of a cable TV service contract. This group excludes entities engaged in economic activities allowing collective reception of programmes for groups of people such as pubs, cinemas, supermarkets, etc.
