The state Globus Circus was founded by Romania’s communist government in 1961. Since then, not much has changed in its design and operation. It functioned normally without any hiccups, but in February 2017 the Bucharest authorities imposed a complete ban on animal performances and the circus lost its biggest attraction. Faced with the crisis, the director decided to put it all on the line and bring in a director of circus shows from Las Vegas who had worked with the famous Cirque du Soleil. He decides to revolutionize the circus and create a world-class show in Bucharest. The artists have a chance to create a spectacular show, but will they be able to meet the high expectations of the director?
