A documentary series made to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence. The program introduced outstanding Poles who fought for the freedom of their homeland. Subsequent episodes of the series depict heroes and events from a closer perspective in an extremely compelling way, which allows modern society to get to know eminent Polish figures not only as superheroes but also as ordinary people.
