This is a documentary about the tragic events of December 1970, when the workers’ revolt across Poland caused by a sudden increase in food prices and other everyday items, was brutally suppressed. The film is based on recently found, previously unknown, audio recordings from the Command Headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Warsaw. The recording constitutes more than 100 hours of conversations between people involved in the pacification of the protests, describing minute by minute the course of events.
