Rebellious Agata comes to a small town to work at a religious camp. A seventeen-year old Mirek, a son of the local church organist, falls in love with her. As it turns out his grandfather, who suffers from dementia, mistakes her for his long-gone lover from his youth. Mirek uses his grandfather’s weakness to his advantage to get closer to Agata. This summer also Mirek’s widowed mother is swept off her feet by the power of love. This whirlwind of emotions unexpectedly uncovers a family secret, which up until now has been carefully guarded by Mirek’s mother.
