The changes will also align price levels in Poland, which are among the lowest in the EU, with those of other nations in the bloc.
A bill to introduce the measures over the next three years was approved by the lower house of parliament on Wednesday, with 236 MPs in favor, 188 against, and two abstaining.
Starting in 2025, excise tax on cigarettes will rise by 25%, followed by a 20% increase in 2026, and 15% in 2027.
E-liquids will see the steepest hikes: 75% in 2025, 50% in 2026, and 25% in 2027.
Meanwhile, heated tobacco products will face a 50% increase in 2025, followed by 20% in 2026 and 15% in 2027.
The new rates will apply from March 1 next year.
The European Commission has reported that cigarette prices in Poland rank among the lowest in the EU.
