The artists behind the mural said its imagery “unites all those who work for ecology, regardless of age, profession or background.”
The mural celebrates the 30-year legacy of the city’s “Green Poznań” contest, which honors residents for eco-friendly garden projects.
The unveiling came days before the annual “Green Poznań” gala, which will see awards handed out to residents for the city’s most outstanding gardens, balconies, terraces and green spaces.
The contest’s goal, said Joanna Jajus, head of Poznań city hall’s department of business and agriculture, is to “foster pro-environmental attitudes and recognize residents’ efforts to beautify the city.”
