The undisputed Queen of Pop with estimated global sales of 200 million records, U.S.-born Swift is a global phenomenon.

As part of her Eras Tour, the 34-year-old will play three concerts in the Polish capital, on August 1, 2, and 3.

According to Marek Traczyk from the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce, a fan coming to Warsaw for similar events spends about €1,000 (roughly 4,300 zlotys).

Traczyk said: “Estimating that the number of visiting tourists from outside Warsaw and Poland will constitute about 25% of the audience and based on the assumption that there will be 60,000 people at the concert, the total sum of the visitors’ expenditure over the three days may be around €45 million, or 190 million zlotys.”

“This spreads out evenly, as tourists go around the town and additionally look for interesting attractions and facilities, such as cafes, museums, discos, and retail centers.”

According to other finance experts, hotels and restaurants are likely to be the main beneficiaries of the inflow of fans not only from Poland but also from abroad.

British media has reported that the proceeds from Swift’s eight London concerts were to bring £1 billion to the British economy.

British online newspaper The Independent reported in May that tourists from the U.S. were also planning to come to the European tour as they had difficulty buying tickets in the U.S., and the price of tickets in the U.S. was very high.

According to media reports, Americans could buy even up to a fifth of all tickets to Swift’s concerts in Europe.

Business psychologist Andrzej Tucholski said: “The impact of Taylor Swift's presence on the capital's economy can be compared to expanding circles on the water - many industries will earn money.”
