The EuroVelo 10 route stretches around the entire Baltic Sea with the Polish section covering nearly 600 kilometers. Commonly known as the R10, it has become one of Poland’s favorite cycling routes.
Starting in the city of Świnoujście at the Polish-German border, it runs through the country’s coastline, passing through not only iconic seaside resorts beloved by Poles, such as Międzyzdroje, Kołobrzeg, and Gdańsk, but also through the Woliński National Park, famous for its picturesque coastal cliffs.
BBC
praised the trail and the “slow tourism” philosophy it represents, calling the route perfect for relaxed riding while appreciating rural scenery and the refreshing Baltic wind.
“It’s family-friendly, flat and accessible, making it a hidden gem of European slow-travel biking escapes,” wrote BBC Travel.
Due to its length, the route is suitable for both a short one-day trip along the coast as well as longer ones lasting several days. However, it’s worth noting that during the summer season, the sections leading through the most popular tourist destinations can be quite busy.
