A survey published on the Dovolená.cz website shows that Czechs are attracted to their northern neighbor by the possibility of relaxation and fun.
"Foreigners visiting Poland consistently appreciate the atmosphere of their stay in the country (94%),” the website said. “They feel good here because Poles know how to create a welcoming and hospitable environment."
The study also showed that Poland is perceived as a safe country.
More good news for Poland came from statistics published by the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ) that showed the popularity of short vacations to Poland has increased by 60% this year.
Also, a recently published study by the insurance company KB Pojišťovna showed that 11% of Czechs planning to spend their summer holidays abroad will choose Poland.
Particularly popular among Czechs are sightseeing tours around the country and holidays on the Baltic Sea.
