Featuring a broad shoreline, fine golden sand, verdant surroundings, and a backdrop of historic landmarks, including Europe’s longest wooden pier, Sopot’s coastline truly stands out. It’s no surprise that this resort destination in the Tri-City area consistently garners recognition in lists of Europe and the world’s most picturesque beaches.
Acknowledging the allure of Poland’s Baltic coast, experts, bloggers, and influencers in the tourism sphere collaborated with Beach Atlas to rank Sopot in the 85th position in this year’s
Golden Beach Awards, sandwiched between Bulgaria’s Sunny Beach and Varadero in Cuba. The assessment noted Sopot’s resemblance to British beaches, one of which secured the 25th spot in the ranking.
The top accolade in the Golden Beach Awards this year went to the beach on
Bora Bora Island, part of French Polynesia, described by Beach Atlas as a place “where your wallet calls for help, but your Instagram account screams that you’re in heaven.”
