The Russian-language Crimean Vetier Telegram channel, which opposes the Kremlin regime, broke the news on Tuesday, saying that the rockets were deployed “between private houses on the seventh kilometer of the route to Balaklava.”

They explained that previously, these launchers were deployed on a hill on the 10th kilometer of the same route.

“Now, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to destroy the air defense systems in Crimea one by one, people became afraid of such a neighborhood,” the channel said.

Sevastopol is the main base of the Russian Black Sea Fleet stationed in Crimea. Due to frequent attacks by Ukrainian forces, most of the formation’s ships have been moved to bases on Russian territory.

On Friday, Ukraine’s Security Service said its drones had destroyed a $100 million long-range radiolocation station in Crimea that was helping the invaders control a 380-kilometer section of the frontline.

Military successes

Last Thursday, the General Staff of Ukraine reported a successful attack using long-range ATACMS missiles on a ferry crossing of the Kerch Strait in Crimea.

Two ferries were damaged as a result of the strike. Russian authorities then closed the ferry crossing and the bridge across the Kerch Strait, leading from the peninsula to Russia.

On the same day, naval drones belonging to Ukraine’s military intelligence service (HUR) destroyed two Russian navy boats off the coast of Crimea.
