The meeting, held at the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, included private discussions between the two leaders following an official welcoming ceremony.
One of the key outcomes was the signing of a bilateral governmental agreement focused on enhancing collaboration in higher education and scientific research.
“Today a cooperation agreement is being concluded in the field of higher education, which I hope will also contribute to closer cooperation when it comes to research on new technologies,” Duda said.
He also mentioned the Poland-Qatar Technology Forum and its role in fostering innovation exchanges between businesses from both nations.
The leaders discussed Qatar's crucial position as Poland's leading supplier of liquefied natural gas (LNG), vital to the operations of the Świnoujście LNG terminal.
President Duda expressed gratitude for Qatar’s support during challenging times in the Middle East.
The Emir of Qatar thanked President Duda for the invitation, and said that Polish-Qatari relations are at a “very good level.”
"We can say that these strategic relations, especially in the field of energy, are very important for both sides.”
