Marko Đurić said his country’s services were working with European security agencies to prevent and address such threats.

He added that “it is important to publicize the matter because someone in Pristina is systematically working to create a climate where an attack on anything Serbian would be acceptable.”

Serbia’s deputy PM and interior minister, Ivica Dačić, identified the sender of the threatening messages as a 26-year-old Swiss citizen of Kosovo origin.

Dačić said the suspect is currently in Kosovo but has been ordered to report to the police upon returning to Switzerland.

The Serbian interior minister also said that similar threats were sent to Belgrade Airport and the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy by the same individual.
