Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram that rescue teams had recovered the body of a woman from the ruins of the clinic that was struck by a missile on Tuesday.
He added that 22 people had sustained injuries during the attack and there is concern that another person may still be trapped under the rubble.
The news came as Russian forces continued their grinding offensive on Ukrainian positions.
According to a report published by the U.S.-based think tank the Institute for the Study of War on December 11, “Russian forces continue to make tactical gains south of Pokrovsk as they attack into Ukrainian weak points and attempt to conduct a turning maneuver to directly assault Pokrovsk from the south.”
