Driver was one of the guests at the EnergaCAMERIMAGE International Film Festival taking place in Toruń, central Poland. In addition to the industry event, however, he found time to explore the city.

The actor ended up at the City Hall, which houses Nicolaus Copernicus’ portrait by Jan Matejko, a leading 19th-century exponent of history painting best known for depicting nodal events from Polish history.

Later on, during a meeting with fans, the actor confessed that he was surprised by how similar he was to the great astronomer and that he would love to play him in a movie. When asked about his acting plans, he said: “Copernicus, Copernicus, Copernicus”.

Driver received the Energa Camerimage Special Award and introduced participants to the film “Ferrari,” directed by Michael Mann, nominated in this year’s Main Competition. The two-time Oscar nominee plays the role of the founder of the automotive empire.
