These kits consist of a night vision monocular, a laser sight and individual anti-drone warfare equipment.

"We have to help Ukraine, because it is an absolute necessity today, (...) it is our sacred duty," declared President Gitanas Nauseda during the final concert of Lithuanian public television LRT, which concluded the collection.

The price of one safe soldier kit, made in Lithuania, is about EUR 7,500. More than a thousand kits will be purchased with the money raised during the campaign. Last week, 50 of them were delivered to Ukraine.

The first "Radarom" campaign was organized last year. At that time EUR 14 million were collected, for which Israeli-made radars were bought and given to Ukraine.

This year, as in the previous one, the initiative could be supported by sending an SMS, costing EUR 5, to a special number. Larger sums were donated by companies. There were also auctions of items donated by artists, athletes and politicians.

In response to the second anniversary of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, many Lithuanian cities held actions in support of Ukraine - concerts, exhibitions, demonstrations on Saturday.

A march of support and solidarity was organized in Vilnius, which ended with a rally attended by the country's leaders and representatives of diplomatic missions. In the evening, thousands attended the "Freedom Shines" concert, held in Lukiskaya Square, in the center of the capital city.
