Police said the man from the western city of Poznań, who has been named by the authorities only as “Roger M.,” was apprehended in the nearby town of Puszczykowo with 4.5 kg of drugs in his car.

Police spokesperson Andrzej Borowiak said that officers then searched the rapper’s apartment, revealing an additional 63 kg of narcotics.

He now faces charges of drug distribution that carry a potential 12-year prison sentence.

Ironically, the rapper may have attracted police attention through his own music.

“He rapped about oppression, poverty, but also about drug distribution. Did he really think the police were so stupid and didn't notice?” a former criminal from Poznań told the Gazeta Wyborcza daily.
