The discovery came after investigators found leftovers from drug manufacturing dumped around the suburban town of Otwock near the capital Warsaw
Acting on intelligence, they swooped on the suspect as he drove around town in his Mercedes and found he was high on amphetamines, methamphetamine and marijuana.
A search of his car revealed more amphetamine and marijuana stashed inside.
But after raiding his home, officers discovered over 105 grams of various drugs and a fully operational drug laboratory.
Among the drugs were mephedrone, commonly known as meow-meow, the designer drug clephedrone and a stockpile of chemicals for churning out other synthetic substances.
The arrest is just the latest in a wave of drug busts shaking the region.
In April, two men were caught red-handed in nearby Józefów with 66 kilograms of mephedrone and lab equipment.
More recently, a joint operation between Warsaw and Rzeszów police uncovered another clandestine lab, leading to the arrest of two suspects aged 44 and 45.
The latest suspect now faces up to 20 years in jail.
