Magdalena Sadło appeared in Carlisle Crown Court, northern England, on Friday, where she pleaded guilty to trying to smuggle the drug into the UK last year.
The 29-year-old was arrested after flying into London’s Heathrow Airport from Dubai following an investigation into what has been described as one of the UK’s largest-ever drug smuggling operations.
The Love Island star, who appeared on the show in 2021, described herself at the time as living in London and being a “spontaneous, self-confident blonde who you can count on”.
She added that she had previously “stolen” another woman’s boyfriend. But she was voted off the show after viewers complained about her lip fillers.
According to her LinkedIn page, Sadło later went into sales before co-founding a luxury yacht rental company in Dubai at the beginning of 2024.
She has now been remanded in custody until sentencing later this year.
The huge cocaine smuggling ring was blown apart after police seized 1kg of the drug in Cumbria last year, along with phones that helped provide evidence of the scale of the operation and the key suspects - including Sadło.
In March this year, nine men were given jail sentences totaling more than 106 years for their involvement in the smuggling operation.
