The thief first made headlines last fall when he was caught posing as a mannequin in shop windows to evade security and steal from stores.

During his bizarre crime spree across the Polish capital, he stole jewelry, changed his clothes, and even dined in a closed restaurant.

Despite being temporarily detained, he resumed his life of crime upon release.

In March, he broke into food outlets by sliding under a metal shutter, stealing cash and causing significant losses. He was apprehended the same night by security guards.

The court's ruling brings an end to the unusual criminal career that captured media attention both in Poland and abroad.

Neither the prosecutor nor the defendant has appealed the verdict.
