The American coach revealed the split on social media.
“Sometimes good things must come to an end. Hubi and I have agreed to go our separate ways,” Boynton wrote.
Hurkacz has worked with Boynton since March 2019. The current world No.7 has won all eight of his ATP tournaments under Boynton’s guidance, including two 1000-ranking tournaments - Miami 2021 and Shanghai 2023.
His most notable achievement at a Grand Slam was at Wimbledon 2021, when the 27 year old reached the semi-finals.
“We have experienced so many unbelievable highs and have grown so much together, however, sometimes good things must come to an end,” Boynton added.
“So grateful for our time together. I am looking forward to a new chapter in my life and the opportunities that will come,” Boynton added.
Hurkacz was eliminated in the second round of the US Open on Thursday after losing to Australian Jordan Thompson. The Polish player has not commented on the matter yet.
He has experienced a difficult season with injuries. He suffered a knee injury at Wimbledon which forced him to forfeit his second-round match. The issue with his knee subsequently forced him to withdraw from competing at the Olympics.
