Head coach Michał Probierz has named a 27-man squad for September’s matches against Scotland and Croatia, with the side set to feature three debutants—Mateusz Bogusz, Bartosz Mrozek, and Mateusz Kowalczyk.

Probierz's selection reflects a blend of experience and fresh talent, with the head coach seeking to inject some new impetus into the side that disappointed in Euro 2024.

In addition to the three debutants, the squad will welcome the return of Jakub Kamiński after nearly a year away. Additionally, Kamil Piątkowski, who last appeared for the national team three years ago, also returns to the fold.

Of the familiar names that will be absent, Wojciech Szczęsny is the most notable following his recent retirement from professional football.

The selected players will convene for a training camp starting September 1, with the first match against Scotland scheduled for September 5 in Glasgow.

The Polish team finds itself in a challenging group in the Nations League after being drawn to face Portugal, Croatia, and Scotland. As per the format, the top two teams will advance to the quarterfinals while the team finishing third will compete in a relegation playoff to remain in the top division.

Poland will kick-off their group campaign with matches against Scotland on September 5, Croatia on September 8, and Portugal on October 12, before meeting each team again at a later stage
