This is Lewandowski's third season for Barca, and despite turning 36 in August, he has started the season well, bagging four goals from his first five league games.
“Congratulations, Lewy,” Barcelona wrote on social media, posting a photo of the Pole holding his number 100 shirt, surrounded by his teammates.
Lewandowski has scored 63 goals in 100 appearances for the famous club, winning, in the process, the league title and the Spanish Super Cup.
In the 2022/23 season, he claimed the Pichichi, La Liga’s award for the top goal scorer.
