Mirosław defeated China’s Lijuan Deng in the final, recording the second-fastest time in history: 6.10 seconds.

Mirosław has consistently been the top performer in the discipline.

She broke her 2023 world record time (6.24 seconds) twice in the heats on Monday after she climbed 6.21 seconds in the first Olympic run and 6.06 seconds in the second.
Mirosław made light work of Spaniard Leslie Romero Pérez in the quarterfinals before facing fellow Pole Kałucka in the semis.

Deng, however, was a more formidable opponent, matching Mirosław hold-for-hold, but the Pole finished 0.08 seconds ahead of the Chinese climber.

Kałucka, having lost out on a place in the final, faced Indonesian Rajiah Sallsabillah for the bronze. Sallsabillah’s slower start cost her and allowed Kałucka to gain a lead that she did not surrender. Mirosław’s victory is Poland’s first gold medal of these Games, and between her and Kałucka, they have boosted the country’s medal tally to six—one gold, one silver, and four bronze—putting it in 30th position overall.
