The report published on Monday by Personnel Service shows that Poles who migrate for seasonal work typically do so in a “pendulum system,” spanning from March to December.

The earnings they can expect are “varied, but generally several times higher than those offered in Poland.”

Czech Republic

In the Czech Republic, wages range from €1,500 gross to €4,000 gross, depending on the sector. The lowest earnings are found in the production and gastronomy sectors, while IT workers have the potential to earn the most.

Germany

Wages in Germany are slightly higher than in the Czech Republic, starting at €2,200 gross and reaching up to €5,500 gross.

Similar to the Czech Republic, the lowest wages are for manual laborers and caregivers, around €2,300, but road workers can earn nearly €1,000 more.

The highest wages are in the IT sector, where professionals can earn up to €5,500 gross.

Sweden

In Sweden, the wages are quoted as net amounts. Production workers can expect a monthly salary of around 2,100 euros net, while eldercare workers can earn between €2,600 and €3,000 net per month.

Whereas construction workers earn between €3,600 and €4,500 net, depending on their specialization, general construction workers can expect higher wages than, for example, welding robot operators.

Norway

In Norway, carpenters can expect monthly wages ranging from € 3,300 to €3,800 net, similar to other seasonal workers.

Pavers and slaughterhouse workers can earn about €4,000 net per month. Ship mechanics, welders, and general construction workers can earn up to 4,000 euros net, while plumbers are offered between € 4,000 and €4,500 net monthly.
