Their weekly report indicates that a stronger Polish złoty against the U.S. dollar is likely to contribute to these reductions.

Fuel costs have been declining for the last two weeks. Although the reductions have been modest, analysts predict that discounts at petrol stations will increase soon due to a significant drop in wholesale market prices, as noted in the report released on Friday.

“With the global petrol market remaining stable, another factor supporting lower petrol prices in Poland is the appreciation of the zloty against the dollar,” the report highlighted.

E-petrol’s forecasts for the week of May 20–26 suggest that the price of PB98-octane petrol will fall to between 7.15 and 7.28 zlotys (€ 1.68-1.71) per liter. The price of unleaded PB95 petrol is expected to decrease to between 6.49 and 6.61 złotys (€ 1.52-1.55) per liter.

Diesel fuel prices are also projected to drop, with a range of 6.51-6.62 złotys (€ 1.53-1.55) per liter. In contrast, LPG (autogas) prices are anticipated to rise slightly, ranging from 2.77 to 2.83 złotys (€ 0.65-0.66) per liter at most stations.
