Agata’s distinguished career was deeply intertwined with the Polish Public Television (TVP), where her remarkable talents and unwavering dedication illuminated our screens.

We mourn the loss of Agata Szostkowska-Stanisławska, a cherished colleague, an esteemed journalist, and an accomplished TV producer, who passed away, aged 58, on Sunday. Agata’s distinguished career was deeply intertwined with the Polish Public Television (TVP), where her remarkable talents and unwavering dedication illuminated our screens.

During her tenure at TVP, she contributed to a wide range of shows, including coverage of festivals in Opole and Sopot, election night specials, as well as popular programs like “Popołudnie z Jedynką” and “Halo Polonia”. Her dedication and creativity shone brightly as she played a pivotal role in the production of breakfast programs “Kawa czy herbata?” and “Pytanie na śniadanie”, where she was instrumental in promotion efforts, demonstrating a remarkable ability to engage and captivate audiences.

In the autumn of 2018, Szostkowska-Stanisławska expanded her professional horizons by joining Polsat Rodzina, where she co-created the morning show “Mamma Mia”, adding another successful project to her portfolio.

Her career took another illustrious turn in December 2021 when she began collaborating with TVP World, contributing to the programs “World Today” and “Business Arena”.

Her versatility and passion for television production have left an indelible impact, making her a respected and beloved figure in the Polish media industry. Her legacy, marked by innovation, professionalism, and a deep commitment to her craft, will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to work alongside her and the viewers who enjoyed the fruits of her labor.

“Yesterday I had a great sadness to say goodbye to my dear mother for the last time. She always thought of others first and only then of herself. For 26 years of my life, she always put me first. I could never have asked for a more loving and devoted mother,” Agata’s son Michał Stanisławski wrote on social media.
