According to the survey for Radio ZET, 64% of participants thought that Trump, as a future president, would cut aid to Ukraine.

Only 17.5% of those surveyed thought the opposite, while around 18.5% of respondents were undecided.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, the probable Republican rival to incumbent Joe Biden in a presidential election scheduled for November, has recently said that if he were re-elected to the White House, he would not defend NATO countries from Russian attack if they do not fulfill their defense spending obligations.

Meanwhile, a USD 95 billion aid package, including USD 60 billion earmarked for Ukraine, has been stuck in the U.S. Congress for months as conflicts between Democrats and Republicans have intensified before the presidential election.

The package was passed by the U.S. Senate, but House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican, is under pressure from Trump and his supporters not to bring it to vote.

The poll was conducted by IBRiS on a representative sample of 1,070 Poles on February 23 and 24.
