Donald Tusk will join other European leaders at the 4th EPC summit, set to take place at Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill. Key topics on the agenda include continued support for Ukraine, shared security concerns, and addressing illegal migration.

The summit, chaired by Prime Minister Starmer, represents a significant opportunity for the new British government to reset international relations following the strain caused by Brexit.

A bilateral meeting between Tusk and Starmer is expected to be a highlight of the event.

In addition to this meeting, Tusk will participate in a session focused on defense and security, led by European Council President Charles Michel and Montenegrin President Jakov Milatović.

The EPC, initiated in 2022 by French President Emmanuel Macron in response to Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, aims to foster dialogue and cooperation among its members. The forum includes the 27 EU countries as well as Turkey, Albania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

The EPC convenes twice annually, with previous meetings held in Spain (October 2023), Moldova (June 2023) and the Czech Republic (October 2022).
